Booking and cancellation policy


 

Villas

In order to guarantee the best possible success of your stay with us, we require compliance with the following conditions and recommendations, unless otherwise agreed.


The booking will be confirmed on the day of booking with credit card details. For villa bookings, we charge a booking fee of 30% of the booking value. The booking fee will be refunded if the villa reservation is cancelled according to the booking conditions no later than 30 days before the arrival date. If canceled up to 29-0 days before date of arrival, 100 percent of all nights will be charged.


Upon completion of your reservation, you can pay for your accommodation at the hotel reception in cash as well as by debit or credit card.


In case of cancellation 29-0 days before the date of arrival, Halla Resort has the right to charge the full amount of the accommodation.


The villa is available from 16:00 on the day of arrival and must be vacated no later than 12:00 on the day of departure.

In the event of an illness, we ask that you send us a medical certificate.

Halla Nature & Design Villas (Mikler Oy) has the right to cancel the reservation for compelling reasons, force majeure. (Halla Resort is unable to provide the services it has promised due to, for example, a strike, fire, water damage, natural disaster, state of war, etc., which makes it difficult for Halla to operate).


Customer duties and responsibilities


Guests must comply with the hotel's policies and regulations during their stay. The hotel guest (or ultimately the contact person designated at the time of booking) is responsible for any damage he or she causes to the villa or third parties. He or she is obliged to compensate the furniture which he or she intentionally or through negligent conduct breaks or unauthorizedly removes from the villa. The customer is also obliged to reimburse the cleaning costs of an abnormally dirty villa to the extent that they exceed the normal cleaning costs. Comments and complaints regarding the equipment and condition of the villa must be made on the day of arrival in order to correct any errors. Halla Resort is not obligated to reimburse the customer for any comments made afterwards. The hotel is not responsible for items left in the villas. 


Insurance 


We recommend travel insurance for our customers in case of possible exceptional situations. The hotel is not obliged to accept cancellations without cancellation fees, e.g. on the basis of a medical certificate or the like.


Other conditions 


For compelling reasons, the hotel reserves the right to transfer the booking to another accommodation of at least the same level after consulting the customer. Halla Resort will reimburse the subscriber for the direct costs of the transfer.

 

Booking and cancellation policy for facilities and restaurants

In order to guarantee the best possible success of your visit with us, we require compliance with the following conditions and recommendations, unless otherwise agreed.


Conditions for bookings of 5 to 50 people:


Cancellation free of charge 30 days before the start date of the booking
Cancellation 29-0 days before the start date of the booking - cancellation costs are 100% of the value of the event
It is possible to make individual booking changes within a group booking 14 days before the arrival date
Cancellations of program services (guided activities and guided tours) - cancellation free of charge 30 days before the start date of the booking.


Groups

List of names

Please send the list of names and room divisions no later than two weeks before the date of arrival with the following information:

- group name and arrival and departure dates

- team leader

- estimated time of arrival at the hotel and departure time from the hotel

- possible meal times and special diets


Specifying the nature of the event for bookings where the customer has booked, in addition to accommodation, meeting services, restaurant, program or custom sauna services.


Please provide a detailed program showing the following two (2) weeks before the event: number of participants, schedule, meal times and any special diets, necessary meeting equipment and the names of the hosts of the event.


If the number of people in the booking changes, we reserve the right to change the price. Invoicing will then take place in accordance with the confirmed number of persons or if it increases above the stated number, as the case may be. 


The booking is valid for the number of participants indicated by the subscriber. If the number of participants changes significantly, Halla has the right to assign another space to the booker and to renegotiate the details and costs of the event. 

Cancellation conditions 


The booking made by the subscriber is binding. However, the customer may cancel the booking, in which case Halla Resort will charge the cancellation as follows, depending on the size of the order and the time of cancellation: 

 

Event of more than 50 people

Cancellation fee: 60 days before the event we will charge the rental price of the event space

Cancellation fee: 30-0 days before the event we charge the rent of the event space, as well as the ordered services and food

 

Event of 10-50 people

Cancellation fee: 30 days before the event no fee

14-0 days before the event 100% of the order value

If the number of people in the booking changes by more than 10%, we reserve the right to change the price. Invoicing will be done in accordance with the confirmed number of persons or if the number increases above the stated number, according to the realized number of persons.

Method of payment for group services 

We make a joint invoice for the accommodation to the customer.

The method of payment is prepayment, cash, credit card or post-invoicing for contract customers. 


In post-invoicing, the invoicing surcharge is 7 € / invoice.


Bookings cannot be transferred to the name of a third party without the consent of Halla. If the booking is transferred to a third party with Halla's consent, we reserve the right to changes in price and the booking conditions. For cancellations that have not been made in accordance with the terms, Halla is entitled to receive compensation for the accommodation price in full for unsold accommodation capacity. If there are changes in the confirmed number of people later than in accordance with the above conditions, the hotel has the right to charge the customer for the costs of the event reduction (e.g. any personnel costs already incurred, lost sales of rooms or program services). If necessary, we will negotiate payment terms and cancellation terms on a case-by-case basis.


Other conditions 


For compelling reasons, Halla has the right to transfer the booking to another accommodation of at least the same level after consulting the subscriber. Halla reimburses the subscriber for the direct costs of the transfer. Hotel and villa reservations are not subject to the package travel act. Hotel reservations are regulated by the accommodation and catering act. The hotel may deviate from these terms and conditions, in which case the different terms and conditions will be stated separately when booking.


Nature & Design villas are available at 16:00 on the day of arrival. Check-out on the day of departure is at 12:00.
